The Cocktails
The Cocktails are a three-piece rock and roll band from the honeymoon capital of the
world, Niagara Falls Ontario. Guitar and vocals are led by Anthony Botting, bass/backing
vocals by Rod Standish and drums/backing vocals by Matt Keighan. The Cocktails
produce, engineer and record independently out of drummer Matt Keighan’s recording
studio “AudioMat”.
The Band released their debut 10 song album “VIVA LA JUICY” in August 2021, which
received a Niagara Music Award Nomination for album of the year, a month after its
release. Their follow-up full length album, “YIPPEE FxxxIN HURRAY” came out in
August 2022. The recently released singles from their new album earned them a finalist
spot in the Top 8 of 97.7 HITZ FM’s 2022 Rock Search competition.
Prior to forming The Cocktails, each member has contributed to projects which have led
them to opportunities such as performing across North America and Europe, playing
festivals such as Pink Pop in the Netherlands, as well as performing with bands such as
Eagles of Death Metal, Deftones and Green Day, to name a few.
The Cocktails aim to keep rock and roll alive and well and bring rad music to the
listening ear for generations to come.

For the sequel just a year later, Botting has lost nearly half of his band. But if anything, he said The Cocktails are even tighter as a trio. Botting and Matt Keighan remain as primary songwriters, joined by veteran Niagara bassist Rod Standish.
“We had some growing pains,” he said............ Read more click link below

Spill Magazine
Hot off of reaching the semi-finals of 97.7 HTZ FM’s annual Rocksearch competition, Niagara, Ontario’s The Cocktails are one of the provinces coolest punk outfits. Almost an exact year to the date of the release of their explosive debut album, Viva La Juicy, the band has returned with their follow-up record, Yippee F’in Hurray, an explosive full-length, ten track album that sees the power-trio dig equally as deep into their ‘90s punk and alternative roots…….
