Niagara hard rockers The Cocktails are leaner and meaner

The way Anthony Botting sees it, his band The Cocktails have gotten bigger by going smaller. 

Last year, Botting and four friends brought their collective experience to their raucous new band, making it to the finals of HTZ-FM’s Rocksearch in the process. The band’s debut album, “Viva La Juicy,” was a concise, old school throwback to punky ’90s rock. 

For the sequel just a year later, Botting has lost nearly half of his band. But if anything, he said The Cocktails are even tighter as a trio. Botting and Matt Keighan remain as primary songwriters, joined by veteran Niagara bassist Rod Standish.......read on at Niagara Falls Review
